Some links on ClaimsRecord are affiliate links. If you click one and get a quote or buy a policy on the insurer's site, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing — prices are set by the insurer either way.

This funds the site, and it creates an obvious question: does it bias the reviews? Our answer is structural. The spine of every review is third-party data we can't edit — NAIC complaint indices, AM Best ratings, dated review scores — published with sources next to every figure. Several insurers with affiliate programs receive our most negative verdicts. Rankings are never sold; placement is never paid.

We display advertising as well, clearly distinguishable from editorial content. We never collect insurance quote details ourselves, and we are not an insurance agent or broker.
